How to Keep Sold Vehicle Pages Live

Last updated October 20, 2026

When a vehicle sells, its page normally disappears from your website, so anyone following an old link or search result lands on a "page not found". You can keep sold vehicle pages live instead. Showroom managers and owners can set it up.

What shoppers see

While the page is live, it shows the vehicle as Sold. The enquiry and test drive buttons are replaced with a View similar vehicles button, and the similar vehicles appear near the top of the page. Sold vehicles stay out of your stock lists, search results and sitemap.

After the number of days you choose, the page permanently redirects to a stock list showing the same make and model, for example every Audi Q5 in stock.

Step 1: Open the inventory settings

  1. Sign in at https://vyro.co/access.
  2. In the left-hand menu, click Settings.
  3. Select General Settings, then click Inventory.
  4. Scroll to Keep Sold Vehicle Pages.

Step 2: Turn it on

  1. Switch on Keep Sold Vehicle Pages.
  2. In Retire Sold Pages After (Days), enter how long a sold page stays live. Leave it empty for 60 days.
  3. In Retired Page Redirect, enter the stock list page to send visitors to, starting with /, for example /vehicles/list/all. Use a list that has the Make and Model filters turned on, so the redirect can show the same make and model. Leave it empty to use /vehicles.
  4. Click Save changes at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Check your website

The setting applies to vehicles as they sell from now on. Open the page of a vehicle that has sold: it should show Sold and the View similar vehicles button. This works with the standard vehicle page design.
