Set up a verified email sender

Last updated July 6, 2026

When a workflow sends an email, the From address must be one your account is authorised to send from — a verified sender. Using a verified sender keeps your emails out of spam and makes sure they arrive from the address you expect.

Why it matters

  • Deliverability. Mailbox providers (Gmail, Outlook, and others) check that the sending domain is authorised. Mail from an unverified address is far more likely to be blocked or land in spam.
  • Fallback sending. If you use a From address that isn’t verified, the email provider can reject it. When that happens the workflow still sends the email, but from a generic fallback address rather than your own — so it won’t look like it came from your dealership.

For these reasons the workflow email editor shows a warning whenever the From address isn’t a verified sender.

How to get a verified sender

Verifying a sender involves setting up domain authentication on our email platform, so it’s handled by the Vyro team rather than self-service.

  1. Contact your Vyro Account Manager, or raise a support request through your usual support channel.
  2. Tell them the exact From address (and display name) you want to send from, for example Sales Team <sales@yourdealership.com>.
  3. The Vyro team sets up domain authentication for that address and confirms when it’s ready.

Once your sender is verified, choose it as the From address in your workflow email steps and the warning will clear.

Result

Your workflow emails send from your own verified address, with the best chance of reaching the inbox.
