How to Turn On Faster Font Loading

Last updated October 6, 2026

If your website uses a Google Font, visitors' browsers normally wait for the font's details to download before showing anything. Faster font loading removes that wait, so your pages appear sooner, often by up to a second on mobile. Showroom managers and owners can turn it on.

Before you start

  • This setting only works with a Google Font. Choose one first under Settings → Fonts → Google Font Name. The switch appears once a Google Font is set.
  • Custom fonts you upload are not affected.

Steps

  1. Sign in at https://vyro.co/access.
  2. Go to Settings and scroll to the Fonts section.
  3. Turn on Faster font loading. It sits below Google Font Weights.
  4. Click Save changes.

Result

Within a few minutes your website starts showing pages sooner. You don't need to change any pages.

On a visitor's first page load, text may appear in a standard font for a moment before switching to your Google Font. This is the trade-off for showing the page sooner. If you'd rather visitors only ever see your Google Font, leave the switch off. You can turn it off at any time, and the change applies within a few minutes.
