Show a UI block between vehicles on a list
Drop-in ads are promotional tiles that appear between vehicles on a listing page. Each ad can be one of two kinds:
- Simple — an image, a headline, some text and one button, all edited on this tab.
- UI block — a design you built in Pages, which fills the whole tile. Use this when you need a layout the simple ad can't do: several buttons, a tick list, a partner logo, a badge over the photo.
You can create a block from this tab, or build one in Pages first — see Build a reusable UI block. Either way the design itself is built in Pages, so you need Pages access to make one.
Steps
- Sign in at https://vyro.co/access.
- Open Inventory → Vehicle Lists and choose the list you want the ad to appear on.
- Go to the Drop In Ads tab.
- Select Add drop-in ad, or open an existing ad.
- Set Ad type to UI block — a design built in Pages.
- Choose your block from the UI block list — or select New block, name it, and it opens in Pages ready to design.
- If you created a new block, build it in Pages and publish it there.
- Back on this tab, select Save changes.
Result
The ad appears on the listing page, in place of every sixth vehicle, showing your block's design.
A few things to check if it doesn't:
- The block must be published. A draft block shows a note on this tab, and nothing appears on the live list until you publish it in Pages.
- The block must still exist. If it was deleted, this tab warns you and the ad slot stays empty until you pick another block.
To change how the ad looks, select Edit this block in Pages — the design lives there, not here, so a change you publish in Pages appears on every list using that block.
If you don't have Pages access
Pages access is granted separately from your Dashboard role. Without it, this tab tells you so, and you won't see New block or the links into Pages. You can still choose which existing block this ad shows — ask an admin to add Pages access to your account if you need to create or change a design.
